We believe that privacy is a fundamental right. This site is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. This policy explains what data is collected on jonnylarsson.com, how it is used, and your rights.

We do not use tracking or marketing cookies. Most websites use cookies to follow you around the internet — we don't. We only use strictly necessary cookies if required for the technical operation of the site. Because we don't track you, you won't see a cookie banner here.
Newsletter subscribers — when you sign up via the form on the About page, we store your name, email address, and the date you subscribed. Your IP address is stored as a one-way hash (SHA-256) and cannot be reversed.
Visitor analytics — we use a custom, self-hosted analytics tool to understand how many people visit and which countries they come from. No cookies are used. IP addresses are only processed momentarily to determine general location (country) and then discarded. No personal data is stored. This data is never shared with or sold to third parties.
Search data — we use Google Search Console to understand how people find the site through search engines. This tool does not track you on our website; it only tells us which search terms brought people here.
Play tracking — music plays are logged anonymously to generate charts and statistics. No personal data is attached to play logs.
Contact — if you contact us via email, we will use your information solely to respond to your request. We don't use it for marketing unless you explicitly ask us to.
Typography — we load fonts (Orbitron, Exo 2) from Google Fonts. This means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when you visit the site. See Google's privacy policy.
Newsletter data is collected solely to send updates about new music, projects, and releases. It is never shared with third parties, sold, or used for advertising.
All data is stored in JSON files on a server hosted in Sweden. No third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising services are used on this site.
Newsletter subscriber data is kept for as long as you remain subscribed. Unsubscribing removes your data immediately. Anonymous analytics and play logs are retained indefinitely as aggregate statistics — no personal data is attached to them.
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Since we don't store identifying data for general visitors, we usually won't have anything to show you — but if you've contacted us directly or subscribed to the newsletter, reach out at any time.
To unsubscribe — visit jonnylarsson.com/unsubscribe and enter your email. You will be removed immediately.
To request deletion of any other data — email hello@jonnylarsson.com and we'll take care of it within 30 days.
